SPARCnet RaMP: Training the next generation of interdisciplinary scientists to collaboratively address species responses to climate change

We are excited to continue our National Science Foundation (NSF) Research and Mentoring for Postbaccalaureates (RaMP) in Biological Sciences program. Our program, RaMP: Training the next generation of interdisciplinary scientists to collaboratively address species responses to climate change with SPARCnet is using SPARCnet methods to lead three cohorts of 8-10 postbaccalaureate researchers in paid, mentored research with SPARCnet collaborators. Postbaccs will have the opportunity to build their science skills through independent and team-based research projects, professional development, and networking opportunities.

Our first cohort started on July 1st 2024, and our second cohort started on July 1st 2025. Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort, which starts on July 1st 2026, opened on December 22nd, 2025 and close on February 22nd, 2026. Updates will be posted here and sent to our mailing list.
